Season’s Greetings Farmers!

Winter is coming, which means it’s time for snow! The great news about snow is that you get more resources from your Winter Crops, Trees and Animals. Let’s get started and prepare for the snowfall to come!

Note: To activate the snow, you must refresh your game.

 If you’re level 6 or higher, you’ll see the following pop up. Clicking on “Prepare for Snow” will give you the “Snow Time Like the Present” quest.
 
Click on the Thermometer behind the Farmhand hay bales to access the Quest.


Thermometer Tasks

To get ready for snow, you’ll need to collect and complete the following items:

• Feed Goats
• Winter Working Gloves
• Emergency Heating Tanks

 

Click on the “Ask Friends” button to send requests for each item to your Neighbors. If you do not wish to wait for your friends, you can skip this task for Farm Bucks.

Note: You can send a request for items to your Friends every 18 hours.



Once you have collected and completed the required items, refresh your web browser. After your game reloads, click the Thermometer behind the Farmhand hay bales and then keep your eyes open for the snow! Once the snowfall begins, mouse-over the Thermometer to view the countdown timer until the snow melts. Be sure to time your Winter Crops, Trees and Animals appropriately in order to get the bonus resources!
 

While it snows, the following Winter Crops, Trees and Animals all produce bonus resources:

• Clydesdale Horse
• Royal Palm Turkey
• Sweet Chestnut
• Winterberry
• Poinsettia
